~The Excellent Wife-by Martha Peace

Who is an excellent wife? What is she like? Using the woman in Proverbs 31 as a model, trusted Christian counselor Peace offers detailed practical answers to questions most often asked by Christian wives. Her proven principles and scripturally based insights will encourage you to become the wife God wants you to be. This is a must-read for every Christian wife.

~Homemaking -by JR Miller

Don’t let the title fool you. This is not just a book for women who keep home. Home-Making is an uncompromising vision statement for the domestic bliss and cultural dominion of the Christian family. The message of Home-Making is powerful: “Sisters, Brothers, Husbands, Wives — Home life is meant to be beautiful, ennobling, and victorious!” God intends for each person, from parent to child, to play a role in family life, the ultimate goal of which is the transformation of the individual, the home, and the society for the glory of God.

~Lies Woman Believe-by Nancy Leigh Demoss

We are like Eve. We have all experienced defeats and failures, trouble and turmoil. We have all experienced a selfish heart, a shrewish spirit, anger, envy and bitterness. And we ache to do things over, to have lives of harmony and peace. In Lies Women Believe, Nancy Leigh DeMoss exposes those areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women:

* Lies about themselves: I should not have to live with unfulfilled longings.
* Lies about sin: I cannot walk in consistent victory over sin.
* Lies about their marriage: If I submit to my husband, I will be miserable.
* Lies about their emotions: I can't control my emotions.
* Lies about their circumstances: I just can't take any more.

She sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God's grace, forgiveness, and abundant life. Lies Women Believe offers the most effective weapon to counter and overcome Satan's deceptions---God's truth.

~Her Hand In Marriage- by Douglas Wilson
This is one of the better books on the whole topic of preparation for marriage and courtship. It goes into the foundational principles of God's purpose for marriage and the godly vision we should have as we have as we approach marriage. The final chapter, with its word picture of the woman as a walled garden is worth the price of the book. I wish every teenaged girl could cement that picture into her mind and see what a priceless treasure she is--especially when she keeps her choice fruits and pure streams unpolluted.

~Reforming Marriage-by Douglas Wilson
If you choose to read only one book Christian marriage, make this the book. Thoroughly Scriptural and full of challenging insights, Reforming Marriage outlines the often misunderstood roles of headship, authority, and submission and does not let men off the hook! Both husbands and wives are urged to become more Christlike in their relations with each other, reflecting a servant's heart with joyful abandon. This book will challenge you to take a closer look at your own motives and give you an understanding vision for marriage!

~Future Men by Douglas Wilson
Every parent of sons needs a copy of this book! Wilson shows the heart of the boy and gives advice for bringing up chivalrous defenders and manly men. This is a must-have.

~Safely Home by Tom Eldredge
The choice has always been knowledge or relationship. Which is more important? In Safely Home, Tom Eldredge shows how this was the original conflict in the Garden, a clash that would later be the dividing line between Greek (humanist) and Hebrew (biblical) worldviews. Mr. Eldredge offers practical and biblical hope for those dads who put relationships first and who dare to go safely home.

~Standing on the Promises by Douglas Wilson
As parents our greatest calling is the raising of our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Yet for many Christian parents, the promise of God's blessing to his people and their children is not well understood. Douglas Wilson's Standing on the Promises brings clarity, providing parents with an insightful handbook on biblical childrearing. It's not another paint-by-numbers method for parenting; it's about grace and covenantal blessings. Pray for your children, stand on God's promises, and experience the joy God intended for your family.

~Federal Husband by Douglas Wilson
Federal thinking is foreign to the mind. Federal has come to mean nothing more than centralized or big. Because your federal government has become so uncovenental, it is not surprising that the original meaning of the word is lost. But federal thinking is the backbone of historic Protestant theology, and the Church needs to cover the covenental understanding of federal headship. Husbands are to lead their families, taking responsibility for them as covenant heads-as federal husbands.

~Excused Absence by Douglas Wilson
God calls Christian parents to raise their kids for him, loving Him with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind. But does this divine calling require a distinctively Christian education? Because our kids belong to God, are we called to surround them with a biblical worldview from the time they get up to the time they go down, including the hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

Excused Absence is a powerful book that points Christian parents to an alternative way to educate their children. It is sure to inspire and motivate the growing Christian schooling and home schooling movements for many years to come.

~Biblical Parenting by Don Gilchrist
If God is the Creator of our children, and if He has charged parents to train them up according to his way, then surely He has given directions for accomplishing this monumental task. Indeed He has, and those instructions are in his Word, the Bible.

Drawing from the wisdom of Scripture, from experiences as a father, and from work with hundreds of children as an educator and recreation director, author Don Gilchrist addresses these issues and much more in helping parents fulfill God's high call to Biblical Parenting.

~A Generation Which Knew Not the Lord by Pastor Joseph P. Cammileri
